Crazy lady, with looottttssss of attitude.
I grew up on the south side of Chicago during the early 80’s.
As a child I always knew I would be in the world of fashion and design.
My creative gifts came naturally to me.
I had a love for hair and make-up, practicing on any poor soul who would allow me too.
My talents were further developed while attending Dunbar Vocational High School.
Everything was put on hold after having my first child at 18.
Dream deferred, I had expected on graduating from cosmetology school
and becoming a celebrity stylist.
Boy was I wrong.
My daughter at 2 years old was diagnosed with end stage renal failure.
What was I to do? Oohh no..... Right!
After months of hospital stays and 8 years worth of surgeries, my HERO
Lovia Crystal Mills passed away at home September 12, 2011 on my Birthday.
I’m sure you’re thinking….WOW…
What is the coincidence something like that could happen to any mother.
That day I was reborn into a new woman, fearless and super motivated.
I was determined to take my new life that GOD had given me
to make my daughter proud.
One month later I began to work for a marketing company
that would change my life forever.
Now the journey began, 10-12 hour day shifts to rebuild myself
into the woman I wanted to become.
Finally, one day we received a new client that lit a spark in me.
I’ve always enjoyed doing family and friends make-up.
Just seeing the joy on their faces when I’m done makes my heart warm.
So I decided to embark on my own path.
Create a cosmetic line and styling company for woman like me.
Women who are Ultra Glamorous and Bold.
Women who take risk and live each day like it’s their last.
Women who are willing TODYEFOR what they believe in.
